As well as research evidence Trip also allow clinicians to search across other content types including images, videos, patient information leaflets, educational courses and news.

However, Trip is a non-full text database, via institutional registration Trip allows users to search within its subscribed content and read them with full text.

In advanced search users can search in the article titles or in the full text. Result can be filtered by further features as evidence type or clinical area and publishing date.
