Publishing publications
Following the Innovation Centre's publication pre-screening (https://semmelweis.hu/innovacio/technologiatranszfer/szabadalmi-eloszures) University Authors should publish in some form of open access their University publications, where it is possible.
1. The primary aim of the publication options is to publish a Gold Open Access (freely available on the publisher's website) publication in a peer-reviewed journal. To achieve this goal, the Central Library provides central support for publication in journals of several publishers: https://lib.semmelweis.hu/open_access_tamogatas
Where possible, University Authors should seek to use the CC BY licence: in this case, others are allowed to share (copy, share and transmit) or process (modify and use) the content of the communication, provided that the original authorship is acknowledged.
2. If Gold Open Access is not an option, the accepted manuscript of the publication should be deposited in the Semmelweis University repository (Green Open Access), according to the journal's guidelines, if possible. For more information on repository archiving, please see: https://lib.semmelweis.hu/open_access_onarchivalas
