The Central Library of Semmelweis University support the Open Access publishing of articles that’s authors (researchers, PhD students) has affiliation with Semmelweis University.
Articles submitted and accepted in sponsored journals may be published in Open Access form without any further payment by the authors, if the requirements the of support are fulfilled. The requirements of the support and how to apply may vary by publisher, see the Contracts page for details.
Usually the main condition of the support is that the correspondent author must have affiliation with Semmelweis University (University Relationship) and the type of the publication should be an original article, a review or a longer case report. Depending on the Publisher, you may need to indicate your support request during submission.

icon, and the full table of all funded journals can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
Attention!While You submit your article, some journals may offer additional services subject with a payment obligation (eg. color fee, page charge, etc.). Please note that Central support includes only the APC fee. Other services ordered during the submission process will not get covered by the central fund.Please understand that we are not able to provide support for journals that are not on the list of supported journals. |
We would like to point out that Open Access publishing is also feasible in most cases for non-sponsored subscription journals, with the last revised manuscripts placed by the author in a public repository with limited restrictions.
